Condemned Cedar Tree, Newbury
In February 2015 we undertook work for a domestic customer in Andover Road, Newbury. The customer had a large Cedar Tree that had been condemned by the Local Authority due to it being unsafe and protruding over a public highway. After obtaining consent from the local authority, we dismantled and sectionally felled this tree.
Traffic management was required as the tree was over a main road. We were only able to carry out work between 9am – 3pm due to the site being close to a school.
The large trunk of the tree was sold to a local contractor for milling and the remaining stump was carved to make a feature on their front driveway.
